Neabsco Regional Park Boardwalk

A hidden gem found in an urban area of NOVA

If you know, you know

Going into my first summer with a car, I was eager to explore more pockets of the iconic Virginia nature I grew up in. In my search, I found this tucked away boardwalk that feels straight out of a Ghibli movie. The Neabsco Creek Boardwalk is a 5/8 mile long path with fenced and unfenced sections, as well as a beautiful overlook that displays the vast and lively wetlands this park has to offer. On this path you might encounter wildlife ranging from Red-winged blackbirds to Painted turtles and more.
